I have been playing for nearly ** years. During this time I have participated in a number of pipe band and solo competitions. I have played in Boghall and Bathgate Pipe Band (grade *) and Dysart and Dundonald (grade *). During my time on the solo circuit I won various prizes and have also competed in Kitchen Piping competitions which are by invitation only.

I am currently a Bagpipe Instructor and have taught pipe bands as well as helping individuals through examinations. All my pupils have passed any examinations whether the criteria has been set through the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association or through the Scottish Exam Board via the schools.

I can offer a full wedding package which would include:

• Playing for the arrival of guests
• Piping the Bride into the Venue
• Piping the Bridal couple and guests from the ceremony
• Playing at the arrival of Bridal couple and Guests to reception Venue.
• Piping top table guests in to dinner
• Piping the Bridal couple in to dinner

Other options can be added or deleted at Bride's request.

I have piped at many Weddings, Concerts and other events both in the UK and abroad. My usual Repertoire consists of a number of traditional Bagpipe tunes as well as modern pop/rock. I have previously played, Beethoven's, "Ode to Joy" and Celine Dion's, "My Heart Will Go On" at the request of the Bride.

If the Bridal couple would prefer alternative tunes to be played and they can be transposed onto the Highland Bagpipe, I will endeavour to write the music as part of the package.

I can also pipe at Birthday Parties,Burns Suppers, Hogmanay Parties, Funerals and Memorials. I was the Memorial Piper for Andrew Carnegie for ** years and have a collection of tunes suitable for these sombre occasions.
