Born in St. Albans, Richard hasn't been singing for very long but has had some very successful gigs, having got "Quiff" down to a tee. Hasn't taken many singing lessons, as both his singing voice and speaking voice automatically goes into Cliff mode.

"It was by accident that I got into the Cliff Tribute scene. My mum is a Cliff Fan and so I grew up with his music. And as I got older, I was more appreciative and more aware of his music and the amazing career that has backed him. Then I heard "Some People" from The Event and that was it. I wanted to sing like that. Although I never took any singing lessons, I remember singing "Summer Holiday" as part of a school play about ** years ago and I'm now singing it as part of my set. Quite a while to wait, I think!" Laughs Richard.
