Northern Ireland photographer Chris Semple, has been shooting images for * years. He has worked as a photographer both here in Northern Ireland, and in the Canadian Rockies, Since his return to Belfast, Chris spent a year shooting for a busy portrait photography studio, before setting up on his own in spring ****.

Chris is a liscenced member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP), and has a *st class Hons degree from the University of Ulster, in Multimedia Design.

My aim is to provide unique photographs that are as individual as you are. Your wedding day is first and foremost about you and your partner but also the surroundings and atmosphere of the event as well as loved ones, family and friends. I provide not just a collection of photographs, but a record of emotions and memories that will last a lifetime.

On your wedding day there is no one more important to me than you and your partner, so throughout the course of the day I will take a little time aside with just the two of you to create some stunning and intimate yet creative images that have that "wow factor!" As well as making for great photographs, these shots provide you with a chance to grab a glass of champagne and leave the frantic hustle and bustle behind for a few minutes – enjoy a little while in each others' company and especially enjoy the uniquely artistic results.

My wedding photography is based on a mix of contemporary and classical styles with a friendly and relaxed approach to capturing your day.Aside from the more informal imagery I will also capture the bridal party and family group photographs. It is important to photograph those memories of your nearest and dearest on such an occasion but also not to let the flow of the day be interrupted by excessively long photograph sessions.

A lot of work will go into your images after the actual event. I personally look after all colour correction. image toning, creative retouching, and album design. Wedding albums can be traditional matted or digital magazine albums, or a combination of the two. Albums are available in a range of styles and sizes to suit all tastes and budgets.

I offer custom wedding photography packages, catering for couples that want either photography and album packages or photography coverage only. All packages include a proof book, a web gallery, photo editing, retouching & colour conversions. Popular extras include an engagement or pre-wedding funshoot, photo guestbook, parent albums, canvas prints and frames.

From a base in South Belfast I can travel throughout Ireland for your wedding. A travel supplement will apply for weddings held in the Republic of Ireland. I love to travel and would be more than happy to discuss your overseas or destination wedding.

Bookings are are not confirmed until a deposit is paid. Please be aware that I can often be booked more than a year in advance and summer dates book out quickly.
