Twist and Shout is a five piece band that plays the music that you want to hear, tap your feet to, sing along with and get up and dance to!

Twist and Shout are:

Mel English Lead Vocal
Adam Carstairs Piano, Keyboards and backing vocals
Andy Russell Drums and backing vocals
Tim Fletcher Bass Guitar and backing vocals
Ken Stanton Guitar and backing vocals

Twist and Shout originated during rehearsals for The Rochford District Players' **** performance of 'The Pied Piper of Hamelin'.

Twist and Shout hit the streets when we played our first gig for the Triumph Owners' Motorcycle Club.

We play music from the ****'s (The Beatles ? The Searchers) up to the present (Kelly Clarkson ? Keane). From Abba through to The Zutons. Our repertoire includes a mix of slow 'smoochy' numbers through to lively rock. We can balance our performance to suit your needs.

We play to suit the size of the audience and the venue.

Fifty of your friends in a small hall may just want to listen to the music and be entertained. A party for two hundred people may w ant to immerse themselves in the music and dance!

We are adaptable.

We are reasonably priced.

We enjoy our music and we will enjoy playing our music for you.
