A little about myself...
As a photojournalist and documentary features photographer I am experienced in telling the stories of people and places with images... whether in Wiltshire or West Africa or from Far Eastern Siberia to Papua New Guinea... and this is what I seek to bring to the weddings I am commissioned to shoot. To tell the story of the day itself and of the people partaking in that day. To record the big picture and the smallest detail... and finally to produce a book of images that will bring back memories of the day for years to come.. the fun of the girls making-up in readiness and fixing their hair.. the nervous anticipation of the grooms brushing down their jackets and polishing their shoes.. the guests arriving at the church.. men in their morning suits and ladies like butterflies in their brightly coloured clothes and hats.. the walk up the church aisle, the Father's tear as he gives his daughter away.. the hush of the church and the service itself.. all the way through to the early hours when the last glass of champagne has been drunk and the last slow dance of the night has been danced, the bouquet thrown and the couple waved off on their honeymoon...
