I'm Stephanie Gawne-Hamza; I've been a professional dancer and choreographer for ** years, now specializing in Turkish Belly Dance. I trained in classical ballet and modern dance at The Arts Educational Schools, London and have enjoyed an exciting varied career as a dancer and performer in all styles of theatre. I have both Turkish and British citizenship and a comprehensive understanding of Turkish Gypsy Dance and culture. I also have studied, taught and performed other forms of Middle Eastern Dance both in Turkey, the UK and Egypt.

I am able to cater my program to suit your requirements by offering show sets anywhere between twenty minutes and an hour in length. For Hen Party and other groups I am happy to give a demonstration with a workshop. I teach regular classes and workshops to ladies of all abilities and ages and I have a comprehensive health and fitness knowledge. I teach a variety of different styles, such as Turkish, Arabic and Tribal. My teaching style is fun and informed, the classes are challenging and supportive. I aim to layer the complexity of my improvers classes with finger cymbals, (sagat/zils), veils, sword, stick and cane.

I am a member of the performer's trade union Equity and hold Public Liability Insurance through the Equity organization.
