Soak up the atmosphere of this 15th Century, Grade I Listed Manor House which retains many of its period features including oak beams, stone archways and open fireplaces.

Try the West Bedroom with 4 poster bed and views to the Quantock Hills, or the Gallery bedroom with secret stairs leading to its own sitting room. There are a further 3 bedrooms available in our Courtyard barn conversion providing access for disabled guests. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, full central heating and tea/coffee making facilities.

Blackmore Farm is situated in open countryside overlooking the Quantock Hills and within easy reach of the West Somerset Coast, Exmoor, Bath, Wells & Glastonbury.

Wedding Receptions

This unique 14th Century, Grade I Listed Manor House is easily accessible from Bridgwater and the surrounding areas, and will provide a special venue for your wedding reception.

The house is tastefully furnished in period style and has won many accolades for its accommodation. It has featured in Country Living magazine, HTV's 'Secrets of the Moor', Which? Hotel Guide and the Good Hotel Guide.

Receptions for up to 50 guests can be catered for in the main house in a formal setting, or up to 100/120 for an informal buffet style. Alternatively, a marquee can be erected in the garden with views to the Quantock Hills, catering for up to 200 guests. (There is an extra charge for marquee hire).

We offer a choice of menus, depending on your requirements, and all the food is home-cooked on the premises.
