Promo Video UK is a small London-based video production company centred around Ian Burke, a professional videographer with over ten years experience and a Master Member of the Institute of Videography (IOV). Prior to this, he spent ** years as a musician/composer often working in music for picture which lends a strong musical element to the video production.

Wedding video London

Weddings typically entail a great deal of preparation and offer a unique opportunity for the gathering of family and friends though pass very quickly, leaving the bride and groom often unaware of many of the events of the day. This is why it's so important to have a wedding day filmed properly. Wedding videos stay in a family for many generations and often provide a valuable relic of family history.

Although our priority is to capture as many of the important events of the day as possible, we like to remain unobtrusive so as not to make people feel self conscious. We like to follow the action rather than setting the pace although if people wish we can also record messages from the guests. Sound recording at a wedding is of paramount importance though is often overlooked. For this reason, we use a variety of microphones and recording devices, discretely placed to capture the many different sound sources, music, speeches and vows.

The editing of wedding videos is usually the most time consuming part. The pricing of our packages is mostly dependent on the editing requirements.

The most basic and cheapest package consists of comprehensive filming of the day from the guests arrival at the ceremony until just after the first dance. We always film the ceremony with at least * cameras though a single camera is often sufficient for the remainder of the day. For bigger and more complex weddings we may suggest * or more cameras for the whole of the day. This footage is then edited together in it's entirety onto * or more DVD's and will most likely be at least * hours long. This is fine if you just require a record of the day though if you'd like a more concisely edited film which can easily be screened to family and friends you might consider the fully edited package. With this, you still have the whole footage on * DVDs, though you also receive a more concise version, usually between ** minutes and one hour in duration and containing all the main elements of the day edited with music. With this edited version we use only the best material and aim to make everybody look as good as possible. We arrange for all the neccessary copyright clearance so you can choose any music you wish.
