The Tie-Dye Quartet was formed in **** from a group of like-minded musicians at Aston University. Since then they have been playing their distinctive blend of jazz & funk - mixing classical, traditional and contemporary styles of music - around clubs, bars and various private functions in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

The band have recently finished recording their first full-length feature - Somnesia - at Aeriel Recording Studios in Carmarthenshire, a preview of which may be found on our web site.

Finally, a good blues function band from Birmingham doesn't have to cost the earth. We love to play and don't charge a fortune for the pleasure. Prices vary based on requirements, but you can expect us to be at the lower end of the sprectrum. This isn't due to a lack of quality, merely a surfeit of passion for playing live music.
