Originally a classically trained pianist*, Peter is a talented young multi-instrumentalist and singer with a vast repertoire of covers and original songs in a wide variety of styles. He has been playing music since the age of 3, and has been a professional function-band performer for the last fifteen years, as well as an established presence on the unsigned music scene. He also works as a singing and piano teacher, and as a songwriter and film score composer.

Peter has a personable on-stage persona, and enjoys a bit of banter with the audience, but is adept at reading the room as to whether background music is required or something more involving and energetic - every crowd is different! Peter provides his own PA system, and the full band also comes with a complete lighting rig if required. You can expect a courteous and professional service, with no late arrivals, bad attitudes or nasty surprises.

a) Pianist/Singer

Peter is available as a one-man-and-his-piano act, playing classic party songs to be danced/sung along to, or a more chilled programme of jazz/soul/blues numbers for background ambiance. Special requests in advance are welcomed, as are many requests on the night.

Peter is also available for wedding ceremonies to play (and sing, if required) when guests are arriving, the Bride's entrance, the signing of the register, and the happy couple's walk down the aisle - something a little special, played just the way you want it played.

The repertoire covers 30s and 40s jazz tracks, through Motown and Northern Soul classics, 70s and 80s favourites, right up to some of the great new acts in the charts today. There are also several comedy numbers and songs requiring audience participation that can be thrown into the set.

b) Full 6-piece Party Band

If you need a bigger sound for a bigger event, Peter performs with a full six-piece backing band, made up of some of the top session musicians in the South East. Between them, the band have worked with The Foundations, Plan B, Neil Sedaka, Al Murray, The Blues Brothers Tribute Show, G4, Al Murray (The Pub Landlord) and top West End shows such as Mamma Mia, Les Miserables and Wicked.

c) 4-piece Jazz Band

For those wanting something half way between the piano act and the full party band, Peter can provide a 4-piece jazz band line up, playing tasteful jazz and soul standards - perfect for background music at dinners and cocktail events.

d) Compère/Master of Ceremonies

With his friendly, witty and enthusiastic persona, Peter is available to act as Master of Ceremonies for your event. With his ties to the London swing dance scene, he has been a regular MC for several competitions, balls, showcases for dance troupes and burlesque nights, as well as introducing bands and DJs at music festivals and parties.
