For centuries, the magic of the pipes has been thought of as something very special. Interwoven with national folklore, from spiritual encouragement in battle to the celebrating of an important event, the skirl of the pipes adds a unique aspect to any event, that cannot be equalled!!

Piper Richard Dawson, an experienced musician and bagpiper, was fortunate to have been taught by the very best of piping tutors and carries on the skills and traditions handed down to him. He is able to turn out in any level of Highland Wear, from day wear to full highland dress uniform, wearing the tartans of MacDuff or Davidson.

Richard has given performances several times on TV, and has performed in many places around the world including, Australia, America (Washington DC), the Middle East, Europe ( Wedding Pipers in Krakow ), Cyprus and Hong Kong.

In **** I played for a several weddings in UK and I also went to play for weddings in Portugal and Cannes (French Riviera) in June.

**** :- I had ** engagements during the year, this was including weddings birthday parties and funerals, I was privileged to play for weddings in both Portugal again and in Poland.

I have covered engagements in several counties in UK e.g. Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Hampshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Bedfordshire, Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

Service "A": - Ceremony only

He is at your disposal from the time your guests arrive for the ceremony until the party departs for the reception. He can play welcoming music as the guests arrive, enhance the arrival of the Bride, lead the Bride and escort her up the aisle, play during the signing of the register, play the Bride and Groom down the aisle and outside the church, and for a suitable time during the photographs.

Service "B" : - Reception only

He is at your disposal from the time the wedding party arrives at the reception. He can play welcoming music as the guests arrive, and enhance the arrival of the Bride and Groom, play for a suitable period during the reception drinks, pipe the guests into the dining room and finish in! style, piping the Bride and Groom into the Wedding Breakfast.

Service "C" : - Ceremony and Reception

This combines Services "A" and "B"

For a birthday the choice is yours as to how you would like me to arrive and play, I have been used as a secret surprise at several functions
