If you require a band to turn your wedding, party or function into a night of unstoppable dance floor action with the songs of Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, the Brand New Heavies, Chaka Kahn, Randy Crawford..... then look no further!

It gets better. Most of the musicians are recent graduates of London's top music colleges (Royal Academy, Guildhall etc.) - and what happens when you put * funky young musicians of this incredible talent and experience together? You get a very tight band. A band that is bursting with energy and oozing with soul.

A band that will provide you with the fattest, funkiest floor-filling grooves known to mankind.

PA / lighting:
We provide our own high quality professional PA system and lighting rig which is more than suitable for the majority of venues. PA and lighting costs are included in any quote for the band. We have a *KW sound system, consisting mainly of top-of-the-range active Mackie speakers, an Allen & Heath desk and an assortment of professional mics and outboard gear.

Stage size / performance area:
Funk Factor can perform with or without staging, indoors or outdoors. As a guideline, the minimum stage or floor area we would require is **ft by **ft.

Playing times:
It is normal for the band to perform a total of * hours of live music finishing by midnight, either as * sets of * hour with a break or * shorter sets with * breaks. We always play CDs in our break(s) if required.

Setting up / sound-checking:
It is essential that we have sufficient time to set up and sound-check, and this can take up to * hours. It is highly recommended that the PA and lighting would be set up and sound-checked before the arrival of guests. If there are any stairs at the venue which would affect our 'get-in' it is important that we know about this in advance as some of our equipment is very heavy.

Song requests:
Our clients are welcome to make as many requests as they wish (in advance) from our current set list, and we will endeavour to accommodate as many of these as possible. We accept first dance requests regardless of whether the song you would like is on our set list or not, although we require at least one month's notice to prepare your request.
