The Pavilion String Quartet is a talented professional ensemble who enjoy playing together either in concert or providing music for more informal occasions.

The quartet consists of two violins, viola and cello, or a string trio (violin, viola, cello) is available for more intimate events.

The individual members have a wealth of experience having played in chamber ensembles and symphony orchestras, for opera and ballet as well as television and film appearances.

The quartet has an extensive repertoire ranging from Bach to Beatles to Bollywood and plays regularly at venues such as Castle Howard, Crathorne Hall, Duncombe Park, Gisborough Hall, Hazlewood Castle, Rowley Manor, The National Railway Museum and The Treasurer's House (York).

Jean Hotton G.R.S.M. A.R.C.M.

Since graduating from the Royal College of Music in London, Jean has worked as a solo Pianist specialising in playing beautiful music for wedding ceremonies and receptions, civil partnership, dinners, parties and corporate events.

Her repertoire includes the well-known Classics (music by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Satie. etc), the popular Standards of the **s, **s, **s, **s and **s (e.g. Gershwin, Kern, Cole Porter; The Beatles), Songs from the Shows, (musicals such as Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables), T.V. & Film Themes, and current "pop" standards.

Recent Engagements include:- Betty's Restaurant in York (regular booking), Castle Howard, Duncombe Park,Swinton Park.

Jean has her own electric Stage Piano if required.
