How many people attend so many weddings that they know instinctively what to do and when to do it? The answer is actually very few but the Best Man is often expected to fill this role. Some parts of the day can be organised by the venue's catering manager but few are qualified in the operation of the whole day.

Your Toastmaster is available to give helpful advice to the Bride from the time he is booked. On the day, he will arrive well before the wedding party is expected in order to liaise with the venue management. From then on he will greet the party as they arrive and ensure that the Bride & Bridegroom do not meet until the ceremony is due to start (if at the venue).

After the ceremony your Toastmaster will liaise with everyone who is helping to make your day special. These include photographers, videographers, catering staff, management, entertainers-everyone who is there to ensure that your day is really special for you-until he introduces you onto the floor for your first dance as Mr. & Mrs.

No two weddings are exactly the same. Jewish, Greek, Italian and Indian weddings often have a different structure to an English wedding. If your Toastmaster is a Member of the Guild of International Professional Toastmasters he will be fully trained to perform at all weddings.

At the end of the day though, it is the Bride who has the final say on the arrangements. The Toastmaster's job is to ensure that the Bride has her perfect day.
