My Fiance and i have been dating since 1998. It took him awhile to propose but he finally did. I knew the day was coming when he would finally propse but i didn't know when or how. I am a third grade teacher at a private school.

It was during the Lent season so Kinder thru third grade were in the Chapel praying the stations of the cross. At the end of the stations the pricipal got on the Microphone and announced that she would like to speak to the second and third grades in the assembly room as soon as possible. I had not had a break yet and was suppossed to be on break at this time so needless to say I was a little agitated. I asked my collegue what this was about and she said she had no clue when in fact all the teachers were in on it. We marched down to the assembly room and sat down.

The principal got on the Microphone and began to lecture the children about how she expected them to behave and that she understood that it was close to the end of the school year but it was no excuse for them to be acting out. She began to ask for a volunteer to help her do some role playing on stage. Some children raised their hands but she said she wanted a teachers help and she just so happened to pick me.

As I am on stage helping her role play my fiance's brother walks in behind me holding Two Dosen Roses and says they are from St. Therese and that she was coming around the corner with a message for me. I was in shock, my fiance then walked in knelt down, pulled out the ring and propsed by this point I was in tears. I said yes and gave him a hug. The kids were screaming for joy and crying even the teachers were tearing.

I had the rest of the day off and it didn't end there. He took me out to lunch at an Italian Restaurant and then to canal were we rode the Gondola. The man on the gondola pretended to pull a Bottle out of the water from behind me and said that it must have fallen in the water and that it was a Wedding Favour that the hotel makes, I opened the bottle and inside was a scroll that had a message for me from my fiance and at the bottom of the letter it said "Will you marry me?" so he took my Ring off and propsed a second time. We were so excited we couldn't wait to tell our family and friends. It was the best day of my life!
