| Party Pop,
My mother and I got married at the same time, and in the same ceremony. I thought she was so beautiful that day. I don’t ever think I saw her glow the way she did. I certainly never saw it with my dad. She found the nicest man and I’m ecstatic for her new found happiness. I was so happy for her that I wanted to share my moment of happiness with her moment of happiness. My fiancé didn’t mind either for they are very close. My mother is more like a sister to me now that I am grown up.
Everything we did was extra special because we had two of us to chip in for it. Of course, my dad chipped in for my portion of the wedding. My dad is happily remarried as well. My parents have learned to be friends in the past few years, which is easier for me.
We had the church decorated with a tremendous amount of peach and white flowers. The ends of the pews held big bouquets, the alter had many bouquets and there were flowering trees dispersed randomly about the church. The effect was breathtaking, not to mention the sweet aroma that filled the air. We also decided to have a night wedding and we had hundreds of candles lighting up the church. It was also a black and white wedding. It was the most romantic setting that I ever saw.
I had four bridesmaids and ushers and my mom just had a best man and maid of honor. She decided that this was her second marriage and the space should be taken up with my friends. My mom was also my maid of honor. She had on a white gown, trimmed with sections of black in the skirt and the material that held the dress up at the neckline. The bride maids wore elegant, slender, black gowns that were jeweled with white pearls around the bodice. They were incredible. The groom men wore black tuxedos with long tails, white shirts with black buttons and black bow ties. My gown was a low cut, white lace, slender design with long sleeves that came to a point over my hands. My niece was the flower girl and Gary’s nephew was the ring bearer.
So the two grooms were standing at the alter waiting for their loves. My niece went first and then my nephew, followed by the bride maids, my mom, and then me. My mom stood next to me for my part in the ceremony, but was also standing next to her fiancé for her part of the ceremony. My mom and her husband spoke their vows first, for she wanted to give her attention to me for my wedding. My fiancé and I wrote our vows and they were the most heart felt words ever spoken in my life. I loved this man more than life itself. He was wealthy, elegant and charming. I felt like I was living a fairy tail. I would never forget this moment and the intense feelings I held inside. He looked at me as though he wanted to merge with me to the depths of my soul. How did I ever get so lucky? We kissed with intense passion. You could cut the intensity with a knife. We turned and faced the church and I was in awe of the beauty of our friends and family staring at us with tears in their eyes. We left the church and the two couples climbed into the horse and carriage and rode to the reception.
The reception was held at an elegant restaurant in New York City. Candles burned, tables were decorated with peach table cloths and beautiful black and white candle holders surrounded with flowers. The main table had a white table cloth with peach satin trim. The cake had 4 tiers with pillars and a row of flowers attaching each layer in a spiral design. It had peach and white frosting and 2 couples on the top of the cake. We had a five course meal serving prime rib or roasted chicken as the main course. We had a champagne fountain and a chocolate fountain for strawberries to go with the champagne. There was a full bar with wait staff to serve drinks as well as the food serving staff. Everything and everyone were perfect. Even the 7 piece band played fun and tasteful music.
We did all the dancing, cake cutting and other things and then decided to call it a night. I couldn’t wait to make love to my husband. We hadn’t had sex for two weeks prior to the wedding. We wanted to be ready for our wedding night. We went to our hotel and spent the rest of the night alone, enjoying and pleasuring each other to a level we had yet to experience. We had an 11:15 am flight to Tahiti, where we would spend ten days in a beach cottage that was part of the Hyatt Hotel. The rest is ours alone for the rest of our lives.
Thank you,
