Heroes And Villians Party
Hi
I reach the grand old age of thirty this year and will be throwing a party to celebrate. Its going to be in the theme of heroes and villians in the world of tv, books and films. If anyone has an ideas on imaginative invitations and decor all suggestions will be gratefully received.

Re: Heroes And Villians Party
How about scanning in a cover of a Superman or Batman comic book and use that as your invitation cover. Add your info to it, etc. Or, you could create mini comic books of your own this way by making a card...put the scanned picture on one side, which would be the front. Then, on the other side, which becomes the inside, scan, or draw and scan, your own mini comic strip. Then on the other half of the inside, incorporate a comic strip with your party details. What a unique inivtation that would be!
You could even make mini pics of these characters, laminate, punch a hole in it and add a keychain...for party favors. Or, you could have personalized candy wrappers done using these types of pictures, with your brithday details. If your interested in that, you can contact me at ddnj@juno.com.
More ideas...Scan pictures, print on 8-1/2x11 paper and hang for posters/decorations.
If you could find a large poster of a villain, you could "pin the explosion on the villain.
How about using a piece of butcher paper, cut it to look like film, and then add hero and villian pics where the film squares would be. Neat decoration. You could do the same with a TV. Create a TV shape, and cut the picture rounded at the corners. Add TV knobs for the old look!
Another decoration idea: Using butcher paper again, you could draw a telephone booth (if you`re good at drawing, 3D would be cool). Maybe have the door open for Superman to use!
Staying on the Superman theme, maybe you could find crystals that could resemble kryptonite!
You could play "guess the villain or hero" by telling something about him.
Just a few ideas. Good luck!
