Although Roland likes to shoot a good variety of relaxed informal shots capturing those special moments, he is not an advocate of the pure "documentary/ reportage" approach to wedding photography.

Roland believes that stunning photographs are created by special light and carefully considered composition - these are rarely stumbled upon by chance just by merely clicking away. This doesn't mean Roland always takes a traditional approach- far from it! Roland's influences vary from classic paintings to modern fashion, so he will frequently work from unusual angles (even on the floor) and will utilise lighting to create images with a real wow factor.

Roland is very personable and relaxed and you will feel at ease with his overall approach. He likes to get to know the bride and groom as best he can before the wedding day, so he can get a feel for what they like and the type of images they want from the day.
