Based in East Anglia and working from his own studio, Jerry Harper Photographer is able to offer a wide range of Wedding Photography services.

Over the years my passion for photography has meant constantly striving to create beautiful images and the highest standards. Whether photographing a wedding, an event or a product the same attention to detail and expertise ensures that I capture exactly what the client wants and present final images of the highest possible quality.

Each assignment is approached with a personal touch and a professional attitude - I do not approach my photographs as though we were working on a production line! Working closely with clients helps to ensure that we achieve the outcomes that they desire rather than imposing particular styles.

Based in East Anglia and working from my own studio I am able to offer a wide range of services including weddings, portraits, model portfolios and commercial photography. I use exclusively Canon cameras and professional L-Series lenses, Bowens lighting in the studio and portable lights for working on location. I travel all over the country on assignments and occasionally even venture abroad!

With a background in teaching at university and colleges I can also call on extensive post-production skills in Photoshop - preparing images for publishing or individually designed portfolios and albums.

Weddings

Although we offer "packages" please be aware that these are by no means set in stone. We believe strongly in offering a bespoke service and will modify anything and everything in consultation with you to ensure that you receive a photography service tailored specifically to your special day, requirements and budgets.

We only ever shoot one wedding per day so that we can offer a comprehensive coverage of your day from start to finish as required.

Any couples booking a wedding will be offered a free studio portrait shoot so that we have time to get to know each other a little and also this gives us the opportunity to work on poses and tricks and tips to get the very best pictures on the big day. If possible I will also attend the rehearsal or visit the venues with you to plan locations, shots and alternatives before the big day itself so that your day runs quickly and smoothly.

Enquiries and consultations are completely free and guaranteed pressure free - I believe that your wedding should be a pleasure from start to finish and this includes the planning! You might not have that much experience of weddings...but we do!

Whether you want a very traditional formal approach to your photographs, unobtrusive reportage style or a mixture of both we are happy to oblige. Similarly you can chose from traditional albums to modern style "coffee table" books. All our albums and books are of the highest quality and available in a wide range to suit your taste and budget.

A LITTLE EXTRA FOR YOUR WEDDING. . .

To help to get the best out of your special day we will always meet you at least once prior to the big day and I offer the opportunity to have a portrait photography session completely free (including a free 10x8 print from the session). This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other a little, to get a good idea of what style of photos you like and to practice poses so that you get the very best out of your photos on the day itself. The pre-wedding shoot can be at my studio, at your home or on location - weather permitting!

NOT ONLY BUT ALSO. . .

As we have a complete portable studio, if you desire (and if the reception venue is suitable) we can bring a studio to your reception. This gives you the opportunity to have even more photographs, and also for your friends and family to have portraits taken. Wedding receptions provide an ideal opportunity as whole families are together and all dressed up already! The reception studio has always prooved popular and even adds a little extra enteretainment for your guests to your reception. There is no extra charge for this service if your coverage is to include the reception.

The ideal way to use the studio is to have it set up at the beginning of the evening, cards will inform all your guests at the reception that they are invited to have portrait photographs taken with you or on their own completely free - your guests only pay for the prints that they desire. If you/they are willing to collect their orders into a single order/payment we will extend the discount of 25% on print prices to this service as well.

The studio is best located in a seperate area to the reception, or tucked into a corner... generally we will only set up and use the portable studio for the first hour or so of the reception and then we can quickly pack it away without any disruption to your reception.

AND THERE'S MORE. . .

We have a link with a videography company - TVS (Total Video Services) and if you want a video of your wedding day we can extend a discount to clients booking both services. TVS use broadcast quality Hi-Definition cameras and wireless studio quality microphones for a discreet, non-invasive record of your day.

Why not have your choice of wedding photo made into a "thank-you" card for sending to your guests after the wedding. The cards are printed on high quality board and can contain text of your choice. Cards can ready in 5 days and there is a minimum order of 50.

PHOTO-GIFTS

We can offer a wide range of gift or novelty items with your choice of photograph. Ideas include titled frames such as "Our Bridesmaid", digital keyrings with up to 60 photographs saved onto them from your wedding and a huge range of other items such as mugs, mousemats and many more.
