I am a cheerful and enthusiastic professional Toastmaster with a friendly and courteous manner. In my familiar red jacket I will add dignity to your Wedding Reception but will also make it special by adding merriment, mirth, and good humour, which I hope will make it the best day in your lives.

As a professional Toastmaster with years of experience I have travelled and gavelled extensively at hundreds of weddings spreading happiness wherever I can. I also give you the benefit of my knowledge of the correct protocol and etiquette so making sure that your Reception runs smoothly and efficiently.

I have been a member of the National Association of Toastmasters since **** and for over twenty years I was involved in the Amateur Stage, singing and performing in Musicals, Dramas and Old Time Music Halls etc. This has proved to be an invaluable experience to be a Professional Toastmaster or Master of Ceremonies.

If possible and practicable I include a free visit to your home a week or so before your big day when, besides getting to know each other, consultancy and advice and special help are all available to you, along with helpful and informative notes and templates etc. regarding the all-important Speeches.

It doesn't matter if your Reception is to be held in a Castle or a Village Hall, I have attended at such well known and prestigious venues such as Woburn Abbey, The Savoy and other large West End Hotels, to local Church Halls and Sports Clubs etc. Therefore no Wedding is too big or too small. I pride myself in being able to adapt from being the very formal professional Toastmaster to the informal Master of Ceremonies as circumstances require.

I will also bring along a quantity of 'smiles' which I hope you and all your guests will share with me, and with my invisible 'magic dust' I hope I can make you both feel like 'Royalty' on this very special day.

In reply to the Frequently Asked Question:- 'What exactly do you do?

Before the Day From the time of booking, I am available to provide ongoing advice, including the planning, preparation and management of your Reception, and of course, protocol, etiquette, and the all-important speeches etc.

To arrange, if possible and practicable, a Free personal interview in your own home a week or so before the day in order to fully discuss and arrange the Reception details.

On the Day

At Civil Weddings I will help the Bridegroom and Best man before the ceremony in preparation for the arrival of the Bride and to liaise with the Registrar and assist where necessary.

At Church Weddings I will greet the arrival of the Bride and Groom at the Reception venue.

I will ensure the Bride, Groom and Parents relax and enjoy the occasion by leaving all the arrangements to me and so that they have no worries!

I will provide confidence and a calming influence on the Best Man and all of the Bridal Party by
giving constant advice as to their duties etc..

I will provide a professional control by discreet and dignified liaison with all other parties concerned, e.g. the Banqueting and Catering management, Photographers, Videographers, Musicians, Entertainers etc. etc.

I will arrange and conduct the Receiving Line if required.

I will conduct all announcements at the relevant times and to keep control of all bouquets, presents, guest book, cameras etc.

I will arrange and assist with the Toasts and the Speeches.

I represent the Bride and Groom throughout the Reception thus allowing the Banqueting and Catering management to concentrate on their own important duties.

I will try to add that extra 'Touch of Class' and with enthusiasm and joviality to make the Reception a very happy and joyful occasion.

I will ensure the Bride and Groom are treated like 'Royalty' by all concerned thus making it the best day of their lives.
