David Read Toastmaster is a highly trained and professional master of ceremonies available for Private, Corporate and Civic Receptions, Luncheons, Banquets and other Functions.

David Read is an experienced toastmaster who has successfully completed a wide range of engagements covering the south of England from London to West Cornwall and as far north as Derby. His firm but friendly hand of control will allow you to relax in the knowledge that the smooth running of your event is in very capable hands. He will add a touch of formality and style to your special occasion. Nothing will be left to chance.

A mature man, he is very experienced in dealing with people of varying groups. The immaculate uniform of red tailcoat, black trousers, white shirt and waistcoat are not merely to add colour to the occasion. The Toast-master is trained to guide your guests with a level of diplomacy that enables the host to relax and enjoy the event in the knowledge the organisation is in capable hands.

David Read will do his utmost to provide a welcoming, friendly and happy atmosphere among the guests. He will also liaise with caterers, photographers, speakers, entertainers and others to co-ordinate the timing and smooth running of the special function.

David Read will:

• Provide an initial meeting at your home to enable you to discuss your plans in detail.
• Give help and guidance in preparing and timing speeches.
• Liaise with caterers, photographers and others beforehand to ensure the day progresses exactly as you wish.
• Arrive early on the day to check and supervise the final details.
• Introduce all your guests to you in the receiving line and escort the Bridal party to their places at the top table.
• Guide you through the ceremony of cutting the cake and announce all the speakers and toasts in traditional fashion.
• From the time of your arrival at the reception to the start of the evening function your Toast-master will make certain that your wedding day is perfect.

Funerals - Arising from recent requests, David is now able to conduct appropriate ceremonies for secular cremations. (A grey morning suit or other suitable attire is worn for such occasions).
