While the majority of our events take place on the Thames, we also run cruises further afield. Please note most of our events are for exclusive charter, however we do hold some public Experience Days.

Topsail has been organising maritime events since 1987, providing bespoke event management on board a wide variety of historic and classic vessels. Since then Topsail has gone from strength to strength and is now a thriving business organising events around the UK and across Europe.

Team building events now play an important part in the Topsail portfolio. From regattas in the Solent and the South of France to Treasure Hunts, Tall Ship sailing, 'James Bond' days, and Clay Shooting from the deck of an historic Thames Sailing Barge, Topsail can offer a wide variety of events to fulfil a broad range of objectives.

Topsail's expertise and professionalism is recognised across Europe and has been called upon at a number of major events and festivals. We have been the official hospitality agents for the last three International Festivals of the Sea and have been appointed again for Portsmouth 2005. Topsail also provides hospitality opportunities at events such as the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race, Bristol Harbour Festival, Skandia Cowes Week, and at the Brest Festival in France.

...as we raise Tower Bridge just for you. Many of our vessels have tall masts therefore if you have a London wedding the bridge will open up as you cruise beneath it. The ultimate wow-factor wedding!

You’ve chosen your outfit, found a heavenly place for the ceremony, and have a perfect partner to share it with...all you need now is a romantic and unusual wedding reception venue. From modern Motor Vessels to traditional Tall Ships; from 2 to 500 guests; with delicate finger food or a formal seated dinner – Topsail will create your perfect bespoke wedding reception aboard your dream boat.

An unusual wedding reception aboard one of our beautiful boats is a unique and unforgettable way to begin married life...especially if you choose one of our fabulous Thames Sailing Barges – or if you really push the boat out (excuse the pun!) and charter a breathtaking Tall Ship. Aboard any of these tall-masted vessels, Tower Bridge will open just for you as your party toasts the happy couple with a glass of delicious chilled bubbly.

Why not hold your ceremony inside Tower Bridge or at a nearby licensed venue, followed by a reception aboard one of our stunning boats on the Thames? Ceremonies cannot take place on boats capable of movement, however you can now hold your ceremony aboard stunning static venue Golden Hinde - a breathtaking Tudor Galleon!

We can also hold static events aboard some of our boats, moored in the heart of the City at gorgeous St Katharine Docks. Or if you would prefer a unique wedding reception at sea we offer superb vessels on the Solent (sailing from Portsmouth or Southampton) and further afield...Topsail has chartered Tall Ships as far away as Bermuda!
