WOW!! I find all of this hard to believe!!!! Mr. Pearl did my wedding last year and was kind and poliet. I know that is not what you are saying, but you make him out to be a terrible person. In the contracts that we all had to sign, it did say that he had 12 months to get them out to us. Now, those that have been waiting longer then they have a real reason to be upset, but if it hasn't been 12 months, why all thy hype? I got married in May of 2006 and am eagarly waitng my DVD. I will be honest, this is making me worried, but I am going to wait until May before I attack him. As for fraud, why would he tape all of our weddings AFTER he took our final payment? I don't believe he is out to steal anything from us. Just a guy that ran into some really bad luck and we, unfortuneately , are the ones that suffer. I'm sure he realizies that we want these DVD's because they are a very important part of our life. Try emailing him again and see if you get a response. Be patient if your time has not passed. I am glad you are having a good experience thus far. Thank you for your advice but I have been e-mailing him for 9 months now with no response. My contract says it usually takes 3 months and never more than 9 months...it has been 10 months and again it has been 9 months since I heard from them. I e-mailed them 3 weeks ago asking for just my raw footage and that they didn't need to edit it and said I didn't need any refund..I just wanted my video and I got no response and no raw footage. The e-mail I am using is from his website so I know it is correct. When have you been in contact with Ibex last?
It is distressing to see but the fact is-Alexander Stephen Pearl is a con artist.For those of you trying to track him-since you were in fact robbed- please check the FBI-he was printed by them several years ago. He has a long history of moving from place to place, setting up and closing shop, and taking people's money. His other mode of operation is to find an unsuspecting, usually ignorant woman to support him- as this is his only method of financial opportunity. It is true he doen't pay landlords,"EMPLOYEES" or anyone else he comes across. That includes you. Not well educated- as you can see by his apology letter-he has no intention of making your video,and has no "staff" or money to pay you back.Don't waste any more time waiting for your videos-he doesn't care about your wedding memories-find him and have him do 5-10 in the pen. It is what he deserves.
