In case you didn't see it last night, NBC Target 5 investigations did an interview with my daughter, Mary Clare about this whole deal. They hadn't been able to reach him prior to the 5 o'clock airing but miraculously he got ahold of them before the 10 pm edition. He states that he has gone out of business but that he's trying his best to complete these videos 'in his spare time." But then we received an email from him last night telling us that he'd hired a sub-contractor to shoot our wedding and that the guy is holding our tapes 'hostage' b/c he demanded cash prior to turning the tapes over to him. He also claims that he told us this a year ago....or at least had instructed his assistant to do so and she 'implied' that she had. His stories just don't add up. First of all we were told in Feb. '05 that he would add a photo montage to our video to make up for the delay....without any mention of the tape being unavailable to him. We were told that he's stiffed a number of his freelance videographers which is probably why he wanted the cash for his work.
