I am also having a camouflage wedding and the planning is going just fine but when it comes to a cake, I have no idea what to do. I want to stay with the camouflage/fall theme and also have a simple cake but I can't find any. I need some ideas.
Hi i had a camo wedding i order a cake from publixs and just had a white cake with green,ivory and tan flowers on it and i bought my topper from wal-mart the bride pulling the groom by the collar then i found a lil deer and gun that i place over him and the gun on his lap it very cute and funny. One thing you could ask your baker to do is make a camo cake...it is possilbe and very easy to do!...now it doesnt look like realy camo but more like army camo, but it gets the job done...it could be like a 3 tier cake with tan on the top of each layer and camo on the sides, add some rope on the edge, and you can find a cake topper with a camo groom thats really cute too!!

My son and daughter-in-law were married 10/7/06. They are both in the Army and met in Iraq 3 years ago. They did not want a totally military wedding, but they did get married by the Army Chaplain in church. I talked them into letting me buy the cakes, and I ordered a grooms cake which was 1 large layer. It was chocolate with dark chocolate piping around the outside and the baker made the top look like Camo with just colored frosting. My son picked up a tank and Army men at the toy store and put them on top and he had camo netting under the cake with lights. It looked so sharp, everybody was impressed and he had great fun doing it. If you want to see photos send me your email address and I will send you a photo.

My wedding is next week. Cake= buttercreme frosting with chocolate leaves, pinecones,twigs. Decorations- floral branches with berries from craft store. Cake topper - Ebay, hunter themed with deer and atv.
I'm doing a camo wedding also! Sept 23rd. We are having a spice cake that will be decorated with silk fall oak leaves. Hello. I am having my Wedding Camo Style. I wanted to know if anyone had pictures of a camo wedding cake and maybe some of their reception. I'm not getting married till June 6, 2009, but I'm trying to get all the planning done now. We are getting married in the mountains of Colorado and since we are hunters, a Camo theme is just want we want. If anyone has pictues, info on where I can get personalized camo napkins, camo party favors, etc...please please let me know! I really need all the help I can get!
