Dear Patrice,
I felt a need to write a thank you note to express Rita and my appreciation of the fantastic job that Mystique did being the principal entertainment and master of ceremonies for our wedding on June 27, 2002.
Preparing for a wedding is hard work (which Rita did all of the work on) and involves making critical and expensive decisions on invitations, booking a place, rehearsal dinner, wedding dinner, flowers, favors, wedding dress, tuxedos, finding a minister or Justice of the Peace, photographers, videographers, and of course entertainment.
In reflection, entertainment is the most important piece of a wedding because the majority of the four to six hours of a standard wedding and reception will be directly affected by the quality and mood of the music or "the band" that you select. Guests will most likely remember the quality of the band as much or more than the combination of all the other elements that make a great wedding.
Mystique made our wedding great because Mystique is not a wedding band but a world class band that just happens to perform at weddings. The energy, professionalism, musicianship, and quality of your performance was worthy of a concert hall or ticketed nationally recognized performance. Your own history as a world class internationally recognized performer shines through in the quality of Mystique, You have raised the bar of performance for wedding bands to emulate to and I am extremely pleased that we hired you.
Mystique's ability to intuitively read the audience and deliver music according to the changing moods of the evening was incredible. The entire audience felt the privilege of actually participating with the band and it felt as if we were actually part of the band because of the way Mystique got the audience to directly participate.
I am trying to figure out ways that we can use the band for corporate events and I have been encouraging my friends to get married so that I can get them to create another opportunity for us to party with Mystique.
Thanks again for making our wedding a day that will be remembered for the rest of our lives.
