Hey there iam 21 also and have been on the depo for a year (4shots)
And i have family history of blood clots, and have previoulsly got chronic period pains and was even spewing up. But since going on depo no more pains , i do get irregular bleeding but usually none at all.
I have had no weight gain, but have had increased appetite. (i've always been a hungry girl though)/. Also at the start i experienced vaginal dryness, but that has cleared up.
For me it is the best option until we get the male contreceptive in NZ which i hear has no side effects.
Actually i do wonder if i should be on it though because there is not so much known about it.
Actuallly i would rather be on nothing at all, damn shame i have a boyfriend.
