| Is it wrong to list the parents of the bride and make no mention of the parents of the groom in anyway on the wedding invitation? My future daughter in law did that on the invitations to my son and her's wedding, she listed her mother, her father and step mother. My husband and I were not referred to at all and my extended family is upset. They say that is not proper? My husband and I have been married for 33 years we are not divorced and have never been married to anyone else. |

| Who is paying for/hosting the wedding? While listing both sets of parents or neither sets of parents would probably be the most ideal scenerio (mainly to avoid hurt feelings), traditionally invitations listed the brides parents names because they were considered the hosts because they were the ones paying. So, if her parents are the ones footing the bill, it wouldn't be a faux paux. |
