I am hoping that someone can help me decide on which types of flowers to go with. My wedding is Aug 9, so its only a month away! I'm supposed to be taking the supplies to the lady who is making the bouquets and all next weekend. The theme of our wedding is Texas (we live near dallas). The decorations are all done in bluebonnets, sunflowers, and indian paintbrush (red ones). My bouquet will be the "something borrowed" (from my cousin) and it is bluebonnets and white roses. I dont know what to do for the bridesmaids bouquets. There are tons of bluebonnets for the reception, so i wanted something different. Their dresses are navy blue. The groomsmen are wearing tuxes with red vests (to correlate with texas-red, white, blue). So i dont know what to make their boutenniers out of. Maybe white roses? Would it look funny for the girls to carry red roses, and the guys wear white roses? I could use any helpful advice. I do plan on using all silk flowers.

About your flowers, I don't know how good it will look if you bm carry all red roses with a navy blue dress. Have you thought about making a red, white, and blue bouquet out of roses. It would still match the dresses and it would also look good with the groomsmen bout. I hope this helps.
I think white roses would be beautiful for a boquet. Easy for boutineer too. (Sorry if misspelled) But you say your arrangement has some white roses in it, so it wouldn't clash... And it wouldn't take away from the bridesmaid's dresses. Hope this helps
Hi Vannie, I think your ideas are great and will look wonderful! them wearing a red vest and a white flower will look good and the girls carrying either a red white and ble bouquet or just a red rose will look pretty. Where did you get your blue bonnets and indian paint?? Tina
Ok..I have nooo idea what indian paints are..but just another suggestion: a sunflower for each bridesmaid? White roses are an all time classic too. The blue roses would look good also. Boy..you have a tough choice.. Your own fault though.. You had too much great choices going on throughout your wedding...LoL What ever you do..it will look beautiful!
This is a question for you. I hope you don't mind. Where did you find Indian Paintbrush flowers or decorations? I want them in my boquet and on the tables, but don't want to grow them myself. Good luck on your wedding!
